Statement:
I find that there is something very soothing about creating a mosaic using a single color palette, especially if it just involves whites and creams. I carefully select my materials for their texture and dimension, their ability to complement each other, to blend into a cohesive whole. I hope that there is also a tranquil, perhaps zen feeling gained by looking at my monochromatic, white mosaics. Creating a harmonious statement with a feeling of inner peace is very important to me. Rather than present a definitive subject, I offer the viewer a chance to find a serene, stress-free moment, a time for relaxing.
